I have a deep lifelong passion for experiencing and learning about the natural world, a passion that has bloomed into a career that takes me around to world to work on projects that enhance our understanding, improve our management and inspire conservation of the natural world.

 

As an ecologist, I’ve researched and managed ecological systems across the country – in the high arctic tundra of Nunavut, the boreal and alpine forests of the Yukon, in the James Bay lowlands, in the transitional forests of Ontario and in the built environment of the GTA.

 

As a guide and naturalist, I’ve paddled, rowed, hiked and cycled across the Atlantic Ocean, Borneo, the Caribbean, Central America, Argentina, Antarctica, Greenland, New Zealand, Hawaii, southern Africa and all across Canada.  I have professional tours booked to Madagascar, South Georgia and Antarctica in 2021.
